Ely to Host First-Ever Marathon

Races Include 5K, Half, and Full Marathon

If you didn’t make it to Grandma’s Marathon or you’re still itching to run in a race, Ely has you covered this fall.

The city is hosting its first-ever marathon in September.

The scenic course takes runners into the true wilderness with about six miles of running on gravel.

The races start Friday, September 25 with a 5K.

The half and full marathons kick off Saturday, September 26.
