Hermantown School Board Names New Superintendent

The Hermantown School Board has voted to select Kerry Juntunen, Middle School Principal, Hermantown Community Schools, as the district’s new superintendent.

“We believe Kerry has the qualifications and skills to move the school district forward. We look forward to working with Kerry in his new capacity,” said Deanna Gronseth, Board Chair.

The School Board will be conducting contract negotiations with Kerry, and a contract is expected to be approved by the School Board at a June 29th meeting.

Kerry’s start date as the new superintendent is July 1, 2015.

He replaces Brad Johnson as superintendent.
