2 Injured After Hitting Deer While on Their Motorcycle

Two Injured in Crash Near the Vermilion Trail

On 6/25/2015 at approximately 2055 hours, St. Louis County Sheriffs Deputies and the St. Louis County Rescue Squad were dispatched to the area of Vermilion Trail @ Three Lakes Road on a motorcycle accident with injuries.

When Deputies arrived, they located the motorcycle and two occupants who had been ejected from their motorcycle.

The driver, Curtis Wick, was driving on Vermilion Trail when a deer crossed the road directly in front of him.

Curtis Wick struck the deer, causing him to lose control of his motorcycle and sending him and his passenger onto the highway.

Curtis and Kim Wick both sustained non life-threatening injuries and were transported¬†by Gold Cross Ambulance to Essentia Health – St. Mary’s Hospital.¬†
