If you’re in an active-duty military family, you now have a free option for summer fun with the kids.

The Duluth Children’s Museum is offering free admission through the summer to all families with active-duty military personnel.

The Children’s Museum joins the Glensheen Historical Estate as the second Blue Star Museum in the city.

There are more than 2,000 Blue Star Museums across the United States.

Those at the children’s museum say it was an easy decision to give such a gift to these families.

“Families of those who serve in the military are also serving in the military,” explains President/CEO Cameron Bloom Kruger. “And they critically need support and they critically need access to great cultural opportunities, great family building opportunities.”

The Duluth Children’s Museum is open seven days a week.
