The Lake Superior Zoo celebrated the birth of a baby lemur Friday.
There are currently four generations of lemurs living at the zoo.
The newest addition is joining four newer babies who were born last year.
“This one seems to be really taking advantage of being the only kid this year. Lots and lots of attention, and the kids that were born last year have really gotten some hands on experience in baby rearing,” said Emily Pann, a zookeeper.
The zoo will name the baby once zookeepers determine if it’s a boy or girl.
