Wednesday, Bent Paddle is releasing its newest pale ale called ‘Lollygagger’ to shelves across Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The local brewery in partnership with Loll Designs – hence the name – will be donating 5 percent of Lollygagger beer sales to COGGS, Cyclists of the Gitchee Gumee Shores, to help build the Duluth Traverse, a 100+ mile mountain biking trail.

“Some decent bitterness to it, a lot of big hop aroma, a lot of citrusy, fruity aromas come out of it,” explained Bryon Tonnis of Bent Paddle. “It’s a very nice, easy drinking pale ale, perfect type of beer you like drinking after you’re out on the trail all day.”

Bent Paddle is hosting a release party in their taproom Wednesday night at 6.
