Sixty young soccer players from Colombia kicked their way into the Duluth Heritage Center Wednesday afternoon.

The kids will have a chance to kick the soccer ball around with the Gitchi Gummi Soccer Club to finish their training for the USA Soccer Tournament in Blaine, Minnesota.

The coaches are excited for the kids to experience a different culture.

“Soccer is a part of their education. But, to share with the people from Duluth is amazing. They will have the opportunity to know the culture, the people and of course the practice and playing of soccer,” said Colombian Coach, Diego Bolivar.

The Gitchi Gummi Soccer Club will also be participating in the USA Cup next Tuesday.
