A Duluth business owner is asking for help with repairs after a car plowed right through his storefront.
Bam Style owner Boris Nektalov estimates repair costs to be between $50,000 and $100,000.
He said the front windows alone will cost up to $10,000 to fix.
Nektalov has launched a Go Fund Me page to help get his business back up and running and said he is anxious to start serving his customers again.
“This is a blessed country and the people are very blessed here, and I’m very happy that they’re willing to share some of their blessing. Whether it’s financial, whether it’s moral, whether it’s, ‘Hi how are you?’ we’re very blessed to have that,” he said.
A 21-year-old slammed through the storefront last weekend.
Police ruled the accident was caused by human error and lack of driving experience.
Alcohol and foul play were ruled out.
Nektalov said his business is insured, but he wants to get the rebuilding process moving faster than the insurance company will allow.
