Two Harbors Honored as GreenStep City

The community of Two Harbors is being recognized as a Minnesota GreenStep City.

They are just one of 80-some cities across the state, helping to secure Minnesota’s natural beauty by taking steps to conserve energy and natural resources.

The city has already made some “green” upgrades to buildings and plans to continue making changes.

“We’ve also done a number of improvements to our LED lighting in all of our street lights and we are working on upgrading some of those things,” said Two Harbors City Administrator Dan Walker.

Duluth and Hermantown are also GreenStep Cities.
