Car Slams Into Truck On Lift Bridge

There were some scary moments on the Lift Bridge in Duluth Tuesday afternoon after two cars crashed head-on.

Police say a 19-year-old driver of the silver car seen in the video above was headed toward Park Point when he slammed into the truck that was headed in the other direction.

The teen driver was hospitalized and was expected to be OK, according to police.

The 61-year-old driver of the F-150 truck was not injured.

A cause is under investigation.
