Colleges in Minnesota's 8th District get More Than $1M

U.S. Rep. Rick Nolan Thursday announced more than $1 million in grants from the U.S. Department of Education through the TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) Program for colleges in the Eighth District.

It is anticipated that the grant will be for a total of 5 years.

Awards for the first budget period (09/01/2015 through 08/31/2016) are as follows:

Lake Superior College: $292,340.00

College of St. Scholastica: $284,755.00

Central Lakes College: $235,235.00

Anoka-Ramsey Community College in Cambridge: $220,000.00
