Silver Bay Teacher Charged With Sex Crime

A Silver Bay teacher is facing sex charges against a young woman.

Troy Paulseth, 50, is accused of giving alcohol to the 19-year-old girl before sexually assaulting her last weekend after the Bay Day Festival.

The criminal complaint says the victim woke up to Paulseth kissing her neck and stomach area while her pants were down.

Paulseth is out on bail and is quoted in the criminal complaint saying he drank too much, stupid things happen and he was disappointed with himself.

Paulseth is on administrative leave from the Lake Superior School District.
