If you’re ever driving through Wrenshall, Bricks Pub and Grub is a must for a drink or meal.
In this week’s Knowing Your Neighbors, we’ll take you to the bar and restaurant that has everything you need for a night on the town.
BRICKS PUB & GRUB
Bricks is back and better than ever under new ownership.
“We opened March 2, 2015,” said Kristin Pilon, Bricks’ assistant manager. “The business was closed for a couple years, so everything has been remodeled and updated.”
Pilon said the restaurant’s owner jumped at the chance to get it up and running again.
“He had an opportunity to purchase it. Knowing that there’s people in the community that always want a place to go. A watering hole, people call it around here,” she said.
The place isn’t just serving up drinks.
“Pizzas are back in town, everybody loves them. They’re homemade. Also some burgers. They’re a blended bacon mix,” said Pilon.
Add in live music and karaoke and your Friday night is set.
“The community has been so excited. They’re always willing to help do anything, and so, it’s been wonderful,” said Pilon.
It’s a chance to get the locals back under one roof for years to come.
“The food, the drinks, the camaraderie, everybody is just excited to be together again,” said Pilon.
Bricks also has two-for-one happy hour every day from 4 to 6 p.m.
The restaurant is located at 129 Broadway Street in Wrenshall.
