Have a wacky pair of socks you want to show off?

The Center Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse invites all golfers to hit the links and wear your wackiest mismatched socks at the 4th Annual Golf Scramble.

This year’s theme: Socks for Survivors.

The fundraiser will help raise money to provide victims with the basic necessities.

“In all honesty, a lot of the survivors that we serve and come to our shelter are coming with just the clothes on their back. They’re leaving at short notice, fleeing an abusive situation and there may not be time to pack a bag,” said CASDA’s Community Program Coordinator, Jill Hinners.

The event is Friday, July 31st.

Registrations begins at 10:30 a.m. and the scramble begins at noon.

If you donate a pair of socks for survivors, a free drink will be provided at Ace’s on 29th.

If you haven’t signed up, you can register here.
