Sorry, this video is no longer available
A UMD student’s journey to be the first person to stand-up paddleboard across Lake Superior is coming to an end.
Jared Munch’s dad tells Fox 21 his son is currently near the Bayfield Peninsula.
So far Munch has traveled 1200 miles and plans on finishing his trip this Wednesday, July 29, arriving at Lester River around 5:00p.m.
You can still donate to Munch’s charity cause.
He is raising money for Neighborhood Youth Services, a program of Woodland Hills, which keeps youth engaged in the outdoors.
