Wednesday night the heated debate over a proposed hog farm just miles from Lake Superior continues at the Bandshell in Ashland.

At 6:30 p.m., Farms Not Factories is holding what they are calling a ‘Stink In’.

They are inviting the public to come and smell pails of hog manure to experience, first–hand, what the proposed pig barns could smell like.

Organizers say the farm would produce millions of gallons of waste that could threaten water and air quality.
