Billings Park Days Returns With Energy

A neighborhood favorite has returned to Superior with Billings Park Days.

The event kicked off Friday evening along Iowa Avenue with a car show, comedy show and movie in the park.

More than 30 businesses in the area contributed to bringing back the family friendly event.

“It seemed like the community’s kind of lacking these kinds of events, and I think it’s important to bring stuff like this back, get to meet your neighbors, just to get out and do something in your local community,” said Keith Kern, organizer.

Festivities continue on Saturday with a parade and carnival.

Plus, there will be a dunk tank!
