Students Learn to Paint the Outdoors

A local art studio taught kids how to bring their creativity to the outdoors.

Studio 15 helped students make art out of bubbles with food coloring.

They also learned how to make their own sidewalk chalk paint with cornstarch, water and nontoxic washable paint.

“This activity in particular is one that they can do at home,” Studio 15 owner Lydia Walker said. “It’s a relatively cheap activity that kids can do with their parents. They can wash away when the rain comes, they can do it inside the house on paper. So it’s really versatile.”

Studio 15 teaches an art class every Sunday afternoon.
