St. Scholastica Receives Grant to Educate Vets
$1 Million Grant Will be Used to Train Vets as Nurses

The College of St. Scholastica is receiving $1 million from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The grant will fund Scholastica’s new Implementation of a Nursing Veteran’s Initiative to Transform Education (INIVTE) Program.
INVITE is designed to train veterans from rural areas to be nurses.
The program will include a veteran as a faculty member to offer support and guidance to vets in the program.
The three year program will launch at the beginning of the 2016 Spring semester.
