Wisconsin Inmate Caught, On the Run for 2 Two Weeks
Kaeden Dumholt in Custody
A Wisconsin inmate who escaped from a correctional facility and had been on the run for two weeks is caught.
On 8-15-15 at 6:46a.m. the Barron County Sheriff’s Department received a call of a suspicious male walking south of Rice Lake on 19 ½ Street and had walked around a house in the area.
Deputies responded and located a male on 19 ½ Street.
The male stated he had broken down on Hwy 53 and was looking for some assistance.
During the course of talking with the subject the deputy recognized him as the subject wanted for the escape from the Black River Correctional Facility and a home invasion in Sawyer County.
The male subject denied this and was transported to the Barron County Jail where a fingerprint scan positively identified this male as Kaeden Dumholt, who was wanted for the above incidents.
Also the Barron County Sheriff’s Department was able to determine that Mr. Dumholt was tied to a stolen vehicle from the City of Eau Claire that crashed in the area he was located earlier that morning.
Kaeden Dumholt was transported to the Sawyer County Jail, where is currently being held, on their warrant and a warrant for escape from the Black River Correctional Facility.
