Animal Allies is bringing the majority of its spay and neuter services back to the main facility.

The transition will take place August 31st when Dr. Tammy Schilling, will formally take administrative control of her practice in Lincoln Park.

Animal Allies says the clinic has performed more than 35,000 alterations since 2009, but with stray and unwanted pet populations in the Twin Ports dwindling, it made sense to bring the service back to the main shelter.

Animal Allies officials say the move will also allow Dr. Schilling to perform a wider variety of veterinary services as she sees fit.
