Sauna Catches Fire Early Thursday Morning

Thursday morning, around 1:45 a.m., 50-year-old Aaron Alec Kinn reported his sauna was engulfed in flames. 

Kinn, of South Range, WI, was at his cabin in Saginaw, MN and had used the sauna earlier that night. 

He told authorities he was in his cabin when he heard crackling and then saw the fire. 

The sauna is heated by a wood stove. 

There were no injuries reported and the cost of damage is unknown. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
