A Minnesota man biked more than 100 miles to Duluth to spread a message of hope.
Gary Brausen, a non-smoker, was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2011.
Doctors gave him at most a year to live.
Four years later he along with 35 family and friends biked from Minneapolis to Canal Park hoping to bring more awareness and inspire others.
“We learned that even though the doctors are telling you that you have a year to live that it’s not necessarily going to happen,” said Brausen. “In our case it did not.”
The group has raised $10,000 dollars this year.
