UPDATE: Authorities Identify Man Killed in Accidental Shooting
An accidental shooting resulted in the death of a man in Gnesen Township.
The victim, Daren Eugene Beede, 50, reported that he dropped a firearm causing it to discharge in the 6400 block of Arnold Road.
He was struck by a .22 caliber bullet in his lower abdomen.
Beede was treated by first responders and Goldcross Ambulance, but died as a result of his injury.
Foul play is not suspected.
The incident remains under investigation.
