Grand Rapids Man Gets Sentence for Stabbing His Brother

A 32-year-old Grand Rapids man has been sentenced for the attempted murder of his brother.

Kalin Wenell-Jack will have to spend the next 10 years in prison for second degree assault.

Police say the victim had stab wounds on his chest, stomach, arms and hands.

His sentence is double the normal one under Minnesota guidelines because Wenell-Jack qualified as a dangerous offender.
