UWS Celebrates Record Number of New, International Students

New students were officially welcomed to UW-Superior Monday.

UWS held their annual induction, telling Freshmen and transfers the history of the school and showing the importance of the Liberal Arts.

Abbey Holbein of Grand Rapids, MN tells us she can’t wait for this new experience, “I really liked just the campus, the size of it was really nice and it always looks nice. Everyone here is just really friendly and all the professors, too.”

UWS is heading into the Fall semester with a 13 percent increase in new students and 25 percent increase in International students.

Classes start up on Wednesday.
