There will also be seminars on topics ranging from securing your ID to understanding Medicare and health insurance, Social Security and the role of your pharmacist in keeping you happy and healthy!

“Today’s Seniors are working longer, are healthier, more mobile and certainly not ready to sit back and rest on their laurels. Seniors, and our perceptions of seniors, have changed in the last decade,” says Tracy Lundeen, Expo producer. “The Expo offers seniors, soon to be seniors, their family members, and friends an opportunity to meet, in person, many of the top products and service providers in the area and have fun at the same time.”

Some exciting new features have been added to this year’s Expo including displays on everything from health, travel and recreation in Pioneer Hall.

Also, new this year, will be a Dog Training Demonstration presented by the Twin Ports Dog Training Club. Popular entertainers Todd Eckart, Kelvin Saline and the Top Hats return this year and will bring music, magic and dance to the Senior Expo Stage.

The City of Duluth Senior Programs will present the annual Centenarian Birthday Party paying tribute to area 100-year-olds beginning at 10 a.m. in Pioneer Hall.
