‘One Book Northland’ Project Reveals 4 Finalists

Promoting Literacy, Encouraging Community to Come Together

Tuesday night, the Duluth Public Library unveiled the four finalists for the 2016 ‘One Book Northland’ project.

In its’ 15th year, the project encourages everyone in the Northland to read the same book at the same time and talk about it with friends, neighbors, and book clubs.

“It gives people something in common to talk about, so as you’re in line at the grocery store, you know, ‘Have you read the book?’ you can chat about it,” said Carla Powers, Manager at the Duluth Public Library.

Between now and October 1, the public will vote to choose a final selection.

The events and a public reading will be held in March and April 2016.
