Thousands Without Power in Superior

Power Outage Affects Thousands in Superior

Crews in Superior are working to restore a power outage that’s affecting many people.

Allete spokesperson, Amy Rutledge said the outage has affected around 4,200 people in Superior.

The affected neighborhoods include Connor’s Point, City Center Park, Central Park, the North End and Billings Park.

The exact cause is not known at this time but a feeder line went down at the Winter Street Station and crews are working to switch over the lines to other working ones.

Work is being done to restore power as quickly as possible and as soon as the problem is fixed company officials will let people know on their Twitter account, @mnpower.
