UW-Superior will once again host the Running for our Heroes 5K.

This run/walk benefits Northland veterans.

Daniel Fanning, Director of Communications and Government Affairs at UWS and Carrisa Skifstad, with the Douglas County Veterans Services Office, stopped by FOX Sunrise to chat about the run.

All proceeds from the 5K will go to the Douglas County Veterans Services Office.

The entry fee is $25 and that includes at t-shirt.

There will also be raffles at the run.
