Missing Boater’s Body Found In BWCAW
Rescue crews in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness found the body of a missing boater Wednesday, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim was identified as Michael Weinzierl, 75, of Ely.
Authorities found his boat near a boat ramp at Fall Lake.
He was reported missing around 8:20 p.m. Monday.
No further information was available Tuesday night.
