Duluthians enjoyed a night of dinner, dancing, and fundraising for the Human Development Center.

The foundation hosted its 5th annual gala at Greysolon, with the hopes of raising at least $75,000.

Right now, the HDC has eight different buildings across the city, and money raised Thursday will go toward finding a new location to bring all of the organization’s 38 programs under one roof.

“Think of a Swiss Army knife,” explained Paul Damberg, Foundation Director at the Human Development Center. “By putting everyone together, we’re going to have one of those monster Swiss Army knives that has all the tools you need on there.”

The HDC provides mental health and addiction services throughout the northland.
