Kiwanis Family Kite Fly at Bayfront
5,000 Kites Given Away to Kids
Blue bird skies and breezy conditions combined Saturday to provide the perfect opportunity to fly a kite.
Hundreds of them dotted the sky at Bayfront Park.
The colorful display was made possible thanks to the Duluth Kiwanis Club, as they gave away 5,000 free kites.
The family-fun event was held in conjunction with the hot air balloon show.
