Superior Police Give Details into Reported Abduction

Juvenile Female Reported Being Abducted

Superior Police are releasing details into an on-going investigation of a reported abduction last Monday.

A juvenile female told authorities she was approached around 4:30p.m. by two males with their faces covered.

They allegedly blind folded her and placed her into a dark blue or black car, in or around the location of North 42nd St. and Albany Avenue.

The juvenile told authorities she was held for two hours before being released.

Superior Police, Douglas County Sheriff, K9s, and other agencies spent the week working to solve and verify the reported abduction.

The community is not believed to be in any danger.

The investigation is on-going.

An item of interest in this case is a bike ridden by the victim. 

The bike is described as a Teal, Specialized Vita Sport, which has not been located.
