Congressman Rick Nolan came to Duluth Monday to participate in a round-table talk about mental health with a focus on youth.

He was joined by mental health specialists, service providers and law enforcement officials from the area.

“There is a bit of a problem,” he said. “I’m finding, where plenty of money for the high priced providers, and not enough money for some of the lower cost preventative mental health counseling services that can prevent mental illness.”

Lack of space and funding were also some issues that were addressed during the discussion.
