Duluth Police Seize More Than 100 Grams of Meth During Arrest

Police Seize, Meth, Marijuana & Prescription Drugs During Vehicle Stop

On Monday, September 21st, 2015 at 2:24 p.m. Duluth Police and the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force stopped a vehicle in the area of 46th Avenue West and Grand Avenue.

The driver of the vehicle, 47-year-old Forest Wright, was arrested at the stop.

During the search of the vehicle, Duluth Police located and seized more than a 100 grams of meth, more than 100 grams of Marijuana and more than 100 different prescription pills ranging from Opioids and Benzodiazepines.

Wright was arrested for possession of Meth and Marijuana along with driving violations.

Wright was charged in St. Louis District Court with a first degree controlled substance crime and possession of 25 grams or more of methamphetamine in the first degree.

His bail is set at $50,000 and he’ll be in court again on October 14.
