Recognizing Those Who Have Overcome Disabilities & Inspire Others

Thursday afternoon, Essentia Health honored three outstanding individuals at the 17th Annual Journey awards.

The award recognizes those who have overcome disabilities and inspire others with their determination and positive outlook.

This year’s award recipient, Sarah Reppe, is a breast cancer and stroke survivor, who just graduated from the social work program at St. Scholastica.

“Never give up because there’s going to be a lot of challenging times, a lot of hard times, but you just keep going and work through it and figure out a way to do things and it’s worth it,” smiled Reppe.

Ice cream and refreshments were served following the presentation.
