‘America’ the Injured Bald Eagle Released into Wild

Hit in August and Injured by SUV

‘America’ the Bald Eagle, which was hit by an SUV in Wisconsin, was released into the wild today.

It spent the last few weeks being nursed back to health at the University of Minnesota Raptor Center in the Twin Cities.

Robbi Tribbey of Superior, Wisconsin said she and her son were driving near Dairyland on August 23rd, when the Eagle flew in front of their SUV hitting the front grill and windshield.
