Carlton County’s Top Dog Gets Bullet Proof Vest

Carlton County’s top dog will have extra protection out in the field thanks to a non-profit.

Roman, Carlton County Sheriff Office’s four-legged friend, will receive a bullet and stab protective vest that  is embroidered with the words “This gift of protection provided by the Shop on 61.”

Non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. is supplying Roman with the vest.

The vest was sponsored by The Shop on 61 in Carlton.

Roman is a new member of the Carlton County force, recently graduating K9 training this summer.

He is now as protected as his handler, Deputy Tory Cawcutt.
