Students from the College of St. Scholastica spent time giving back to the Twin Ports for the school’s Community Day Volunteer event.

Classes were canceled for more than 700 CSS students, so that they could volunteer .

“I think it’s self-beneficial, not only for us but for the community as well, we’re not only impacting our lives, but other people’s as well.” said Kennedy Houge, a Freshman at CSS.

A reception was held at the end of the day for students to reflect on their experience.
