A workshop for mining and health was held at the Mid-Continent Ecology Division Gitchee Gumee Conference Center.

The workshop served in part as a memoriam to the asbestos-related research of Dr. Philip Cook who passed away in 2013. Topics like the geological history of the region, and the relationships between mining and Public health were discussed

The 2nd part of the work shop will be hosted tomorrow starting at 1:45 pm.
