More than 400 students took part in the Head of the Lakes Job and Internship Fair Thursday.

More employers than ever participated in the event including local businesses like Minnesota Power and Essentia Health.

The fair was open to students and recent alumni from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, the College of St. Scholastica and UW-Superior.

“It is the best opportunity for our students to have one day to meet with over 90 employers that are here – from various industries and looking for students from various majors,” said UMD’s Employer Relations Coordinator Susan Hudec.

This is the 29th year organizers have held a job fair at UMD.
