UW-Superior to Host Public Listening Sessions

As part of its new strategic plan, the University of Wisconsin system will be hosting listening sessions to better understand the wants and needs of Wisconsin residents.

Officials from the University of Wisconsin system will head to the University of Wisconsin-Superior on Tuesday, October 13.

They hope to hear from the public on how they can be more responsive to the needs of Wisconsin and its residents.

They are also looking to hear the expectations residents have for the UW System.

“One of our top priorities is to better understand the needs, dreams, and concerns of the people of Wisconsin. Only then can we truly engage in helping to find solutions to problems, expand opportunities, and, as our mission suggests, improve the human condition,” said UW System President Ray Cross.

The UW System planned nine different listening sessions throughout the state.

Four of them have already taken place.

The schedule for the remaining is as follows:

-Oct. 13, University of Wisconsin-Superior

-Oct. 14, University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire

-Oct. 21, University of Wisconsin- Parkside

-Oct. 22, University of Wisconsin- Madison

-Oct. 28, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
