Wisconsin Twins Give Birth Hours Apart
Twin sisters from La Crosse now share more than just a birthday.
Fraternal twins Angel Owen and Kaye Henn had due dates two weeks apart. Early on in the pregnancy, the twin’s mother predicted her daughters would give birth to twins not far apart.
She was wrong on one part, Angel and Kaye were not having twins.
However, she was almost spot on with the same day delivery.
On Sunday October 11, Kaye went into labor.
Angel went in to visit her at Mayo Clinic Health System and started having contractions.
She left the hospital and went to Gunderson Health System to get checked out.
As soon as she stepped out of the truck, her water broke. Now both sisters were in labor at the same time.
Angel gave birth to a baby boy named Cruze around 5 p.m. Sunday.
Kaye was in labor for a grueling 24 hours, giving birth eight hours after her sister to a beautiful baby girl named Elena.
Both moms and their babies are said to be doing well!
