Back to the Future Day: What the Sequel Got Right

Back to the Future Day is finally here.

It’s the day Marty McFly and Doc Brown traveled to in the iconic film “Back to the Future II.”

The film had colorful predictions for the year 2015.

Not all of the predictions have come true, but just what did the classic 1980’s film get right?

We now have 3-D movies , video glasses, drones, fingerprint technology and video calling.

Unfortunately,  no signs of self-tying sneakers, flying cars or hoverboards.

There’s still one prediction from the film that could still be proven true.

The Chicago Cubs could very well make it to the World Series.

The Cubs are facing off against the New York Mets in the National League Championship Series.

They play the Mets at Wrigley Field tonight, hoping for a comeback after being 3-0 in the series.

The “Back to the Future” trilogy has been released on a special 30th anniversary Blu-Ray and DVD.

Throughout the month of October, Amazon Prime members can also stream all three “Back to the Future” movies for free.
