Ramps to Close, Traffic Restricted during Blatnik Bridge Inspection

Drivers plan ahead for your morning commute next week as the Blatnik Bridge will undergo a routine inspection. 

Starting on Monday, November 2 between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. , Superior-bound traffic will be restricted to a single lane during the inspection.  The restriction will run through Friday, November 6 and again on Monday, November 9, and Tuesday, November 2. 

Starting on Monday November 9 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., the ramp from Northbound I-35 to southbound I-535 will be closed.  Motorists are asked to follow the posted detour. 

On Tuesday November 10 the Southbound I-35 ramp to southbound I-535 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Drivers should follow the detour. 

The bridge inspection is weather-dependent and may be rescheduled. 

Drivers are asked to be patient and drive carefully in work-zone areas.
