Victim Identified in Fatal Lake County Crash

Authorities have identified the man who died in a head-on collision in Lake County last week. 

Police say 31-year-old Andrew Johnson of Silver Bay was killed in the crash. 

The accident happened last Thursday just before 2 p.m. on Lax Lake Road in rural Lake County. 

The crash involved a passenger vehicle and a commercial vehicle. 

The accident remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Minnesota State Patrol and Silver Bay Police Department.
