Cloquet Family Displaced by Fire
A fire destroyed one unit at an apartment building in Cloquet, leaving a family displaced.
The Cloquet Fire Department responded to the blaze at 812 Tall Pine Lane Tuesday afternoon.
When crews arrived, they found flames confined to one apartment on the second floor.
The entire unit was heavily damaged by heat and smoke.
Fire crews were able to contain the fire to the single apartment.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
Smoke detectors and the building alarm system alerted other tenants to the fire.
The Cloquet Police Department assisted with the evacuation of the building.
No one was hurt.
The cause remains under investigation.
