For people recovering or living with a debilitating condition, it’s easy to feel alone.

Now a new online writing group “Reflecting Pool”, gives those people a place to express and share their emotions with each other.

The online journal includes a space for not only the patients, but caregivers as well.

It’s a process with many benefits.

“There’s the emotional side of letting go of some thoughts and feelings inside that need to be expressed. There’s the logging of what they’ve thought and felt overtime which you like to see. There’s the untangling of confusion which is huge when you find yourself in a health crisis,” said Lisa McKhann, Founder and Director of Project Lulu.

Reflecting Pool is a service of local non-profit group Project Lulu and is free to Duluth area residents.
