Chipotle Closes 43 Restaurants Amid E-Coli Outbreak

Chipotle has voluntarily closed the doors to 43 of it’s restaurants following an E-Coli outbreak.

The outbreak is linked to Chipotle restaurants in Washington state and Oregon.

The cases have only been connected to six restaurants, but out of precaution the food chain shut down more stores.

Health officials are investigating 19 cases in Washington, and three in Oregon.

Eight people have been hospitalized as a result of the outbreak.

This is the third time this year that a foodborne illness has hit Chipotle restaurants.
